Pure Red Cherry Review
Hello again, and welcome to another B2 Hookah blog. This week, we're going to be talking about another flavor from Pure Tobacco: "Red Cherry." Pure, if you weren't aware, is a modern brand of tobacco that came to popularity with their "FML" flavor, which was raved for being the first "super mint" on the market. Though this is what garnered them their popularity, Pure is a brand that focuses on creating simple, yet elegant, single note flavor for the most part, something that they definitely succeed in doing. So, without further ado, lets jump into it!

The Cut

Pure is, by my standards, the definition of a modern leaf tobacco. Light brown leaves, plenty of juice, and a nice medium chop. It's a tad juicy, but that's what I expect in a modern leaf shisha tobacco.

The smell is interesting. It's very much a maraschino cherry smell - super sweet. It doesn't smell much like a natural cherry at all, but that's okay. It smells more like the cherry on top of your sundae, though not overbearingly so by any means.

The Pack

Here I have it packed in my Mason Onyx bowl. I like to pack Pure very fluffy, just above the rim for HMD's, then lightly pat it down so that it's level with the rim. Throw on your favorite HMD, three coconut coals, and you'll be good to go. Something neat that I've noticed lately as well: Pure smokes exceptionally well in an Egyptian style bowl. The flavor comes across very brightly, super long lasting, and it takes heat insanely well in that kind of setup with foil.

It's a very different smoke from what you first take away from the smell. Right away, you'll get a natural cherry flavor. It comes across much more natural than it does in the smell, though it's still sweeter than I would expect a natural cherry to taste. It also comes across much earthier than it smells, which I think attributes to the natural cherry aspect of the flavor. It's a rather straightforward cherry flavor, and it's a great representation of a cherry flavor because of that. The flavor will last roughly two hours, or two rounds of flat coals. There's no buzz to this flavor, as it is a washed tobacco.

final

Overall?

It comes across as a very delightful smoke, something that would be a perfect crowd-pleaser. While some may find it too sweet, I've found that it's easy to counter that by mixing in a pinch of your favorite mint (FML Green is amazing with this flavor). Aside from a standalone, HookahNuckuh says this is his favorite mixing flavor, and I definitely agree with that. It's not too strong to where it'll overpower whatever you mix it with, nor is it too weak to where you won't notice it in a mix. It's just a well rounded flavor, and delivers in every category. If you're a fan of cherry flavors, you need not look any farther than this.
